Sumit Jasoria stands as the co-founder and CEO of NEWME, a rapidly ascending fashion-tech brand for GenZ in India. With a rich background as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Sumit along with Shivam Tripathi, Vinod Naik, and Himanshu Chaudhary started NEWME in July 2022.
Sumit holds an MBA Degree from the Prestigious Institute of FMS Delhi. Prior to starting NEWME, Sumit was a founding member at Daraz.com (Rocket Internet-backed venture) in South Asia where he was the Regional MD and managed markets of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. Additionally, his tenure as Managing Director for the Indian market at Meero equipped him with invaluable insights into the nuances of the B2B market across India and Southeast Asia. thus, allowing him to adeptly navigate the complexities of establishing and scaling startups within the region.
At NEWME, Sumit spearheads the mission to cultivate the premier fashion-tech platform for Gen Z in India and Southeast Asia. His vision encompasses tackling the supply chain challenges prevalent in the Indian fashion industry while simultaneously crafting NEWME into a data-driven fashion brand poised to make waves both domestically and globally.
